We have a new opportunity for a full time Farm Service Co-Ordinator, based at our main site in Colsterworth, Lincolnshire in our HPL Operations team.
As the main point of contact for a specified group of farmers, Farm Business Managers and Stores, this role is key in ensuring that all communication regarding movement and execution is both accurate and timely.
This is a vital role and it’s essential in creating great relationships with our farmer members and helps deliver the best possible service to them. The role includes building and maintaining good working relationships by attending Farm Business Manager meetings, regional farmer meetings and relevant agricultural events as required.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of what it takes to deliver great service, have a great communication style, attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills and a proven track record of building good working relationships with stakeholders across Openfield.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Contract Maintenance: Dealing with all activities related to purchase contract maintenance for a group of farmers.
• Arranging farmer collections with the relevant Consumer Service Co-Ordinator.
• Discussing and agreeing allowances with farmers and ensuring these are entered correctly and accurately onto the relevant system.
• Working with Farm Business Managers to agree prices with farmers for surplus loads.
• Dealing with all day-to-day administration processes relevant to the forwarding department.
• To be a pro-active member of the Operations team with service, efficiency and accuracy being at the core of what we do.
• Being true to our Values and role modelling a Values led approach.
Desired skills and experience:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to build good relationships with all stakeholders and drive operational best practice through engagement.
• Competency when using IT programmes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Agile thinking able to function at a high level in a changing environment.
• Willingness to travel to other sites as and when required.
